New Box Elder Commissioner, Jeffrey D. Scott

Jeffrey D. Scott was appointed as a new Box Elder County Commissioner to replace Commissioner Adams, who left to take a position with the State Department of Agriculture.  A special election was held at the Republican convention on the January 25, 2014.  The County officials were contacted regarding the problems they are facing, and Mr. Scott said he thought of potential solutions that could help them and the people of Box Elder County.

Gibson is the first from Weber County to have received this award.

 

OGDEN, UTAH, February 19, 2014: One of Weber County’s own took top honors from the Utah Association of Counties (UAC) this past year.  Recently, a selection committee consisting of over 300 county officials across the state selected Commissioner Gibson as the 2013 Overall County Official of the Year.
