Spring and Sump Pumps - KUTV recently did a story about the misuse of sump pumps and how that will effect Spring flooding. Farr West City would like to remind residents to make sure that your sump pumps are not connected to the Sanitary Sewer. This is illegal and can severely overwhelm the sewer system. If you are unsure if your sump pump is connected correctly, please contact the city offices for a free inspection at 801-731-4187. See the full news story by clicking here.

I got a photo of this person riding on the walking/jogging paths at Smith Park. He said he was measuring the distances for the park trails. I didn't believe him. he was having too much fun going fast.

He showed me the distances of each of the loops he was measuring.

Loop A short path .52 mile

Loop A Long path .55 mile

Loop B .82 mile

Loop C 1.05 miles
