We are having a larger number of scooters and skateboards inside our building. If your child decides to ride a bike, skateboard, or scooter to school, there are few locations where they can lock them up.

Above our school on 3200 N, there is a bike rack in the parking lot for the park. Students are also welcome to lock items along our fence on the south side of the school. If a student has a skateboard or scooter that folds up, it needs to be inside his or her backpack.

We wanted to make you aware of how Wahlquist used our Trustlands allotment. The Trustlands program was set up to help fund schools using funds received for the use of designated public lands. This funding has been a huge help in creating the educational opportunities in which our students are able to experience.

We will be conducting our first mandatory fire drill tomorrow at 10:00. This required drill needs to be done in the first 10 days of school. We just wanted everyone to be aware. Office staff will be assisting with the drill and will not be available to help you during this drill. Thank you for your patience as we take care of this safety issue.

PTA wanted me to send out a message to let you know Friday, August 24th is the last day to order T-Shirts. Please get your orders in!

Some of you have asked for the Superintendent Summer Reading form. I've attached it if you need it along with the Math Summer Practice form. Please turn in the papers to your child's teacher as soon as possible.

Superintendent’s Summer         Math Fluency Program 

We are excited to see you tomorow on the first day of school for grades 1-6! Just a reminder that school will be out at 1:05 Tuesday through Friday of this week. Kindergarten will begin classes on Tuesday, August 28th.

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO START SCHOOL TOMORROW. TEACHERS HAVE SPENT MUCH OF THEIR SUMMERS PREPARING FOR YOU TO COME BACK. CUSTODIANS HAVE DONE A FANTASTIC JOB GETTING THE SCHOOL READY. THIS IS GOING TO BE AN AMAZING YEAR. WE ARE EAGER FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO ONE-TO-ONE WITH OUR CHROMEBOOKS. STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE CHROMEBOOKS IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF SCHOOL. MAKE SURE THAT YOU BRING THEM CHARGED EVERY DAY. YOU WILL BE USING THEM IN EVERY CLASS.
