BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Great Lengths Clothing

"We've got you covered," is the motto of Great Lengths Clothing—a modest but trendy clothing store located on Main Street in downtown Brigham City. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted and even more surprised by the modest prom dresses at reasonable prices.  Most of them that I saw were in the $80-$125 range. They had a wide range of Sister Missionary clothing with a 15% discount.

BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Afton's Floral

When I walked into Afton's Floral, I was greeted by friendly staff and a wonderful variety of more than just floral arrangements. They had local honey, honey popcorn, furniture, plate flowers, large chalkboards and a variety of other items that have all been locally produced. When speaking with Kyle, he told me what sets them apart is their amazing customer service.

It's All About... Lessons Learned: The Missing Piece

Last week I started trying to write this article.  Usually I think for weeks about these articles, but as I sit down to write them my fingers barely keep up as my thoughts spill out.  I worked for hours, eventually starting a whole new article and finding neither to be satisfactory.  Well, I think it is because this is the article I was supposed to write, and the event that inspired it transpired later that afternoon.

Don Dunbar A Box Elder Patriot

He sounds like John Wayne, and cares about the Constitution and freedom like Cleon Skousen.  Born in Cache Valley, and raised in Box Elder County on the old Fort Ranch, which was 23,000 acres just west of the Promontory Mountains, Don Dunbar says he’s a “dyed-in-the wool” cowboy. Descended from his LDS convert and immigrant Grandfather Dunbar, who came from Scotland in 1879, Don cares about freedom of all types.  He says he still dreams of the days on the old Fort Ranch.  He still loves the freedom and solitude of the almost open range.
