Have you ever wondered how was America made and why do we not see the stories of American history in the schools anymore?  Who were the pilgrims and founding fathers and what did they know that caused them to create this great country that has been considered the most powerful and prosperous throughout history?  Did God have a hand in it?

It's All About...Less Regrets

My thoughts for several weeks now have been revolving around making choices that I can feel good about later.  I chose not to use the phrase 'no regrets' in the title because as hard as we may try, we will certainly fall short at times, but I know the peace that comes when I truly have done my best.

How to get in the Eagles’ Nest:

Dave Say's

Dear Dave,

My husband works construction, so we barely scrape by during the winter months. Should we build an emergency fund for the slow times?

Cathy

Dear Cathy,

I think that’s a great idea. Although, I’d probably call it something other than an emergency fund. How about a squirrel fund? Squirrels need to have nuts saved up for winter, and in your case you’d be setting money aside during the summer to get you through the slow winter months.
