Urgent Need: Red Cross blood donation opportunities Feb. 16-28

Donors urgently needed to increase Red Cross blood supply

(Feb. 2, 2017) – The American Red Cross urgently needs blood donors to make an appointment to give this winter so that patients can continue to receive lifesaving treatments.

Michael Harper knows how critical it is to have a readily available blood supply. “I used over 300 units of blood when I was younger after an auto accident. Blood donations helped save my life,” he said. “Now, I would like to donate as much or more than I have received.”

Box Elder High - Students of the month January (3)

Morgan Reeder was nominated by Aaron Dooley, her Social Science teacher, for January Student of the Month.  Morgan is the daughter of Ryan and Suzanne Reeder.

Morgan is in my World Civilizations class.  She is an exceptional student in every way.  Morgan puts forth the effort on every assignment.  We do many assignments that require students to make inference on their own.  Morgan has demonstrated repeatedly her ability to critically think about events in the past and understand them for more than just facts on a page.

Box Elder High - Students of the month January (2)

Sydnee Nevling is our January Student of the Month for Visual/Fine Arts. Carol Dittli, Photography teacher at BEHS, nominated Sydnee.  Miss Nevling is the daughter of Dan and Eunice Nevling.

I have had the privilege of having Sydnee Nevling in several of my photography classes.  When I think of an A student, Sydnee immediately comes to mind.  Sydnee is extremely responsible student who does great work on all her assignments.  She comes to class prepared and is a positive influence in the classroom.
