The YMCA Preschool Program provides a structured environment for 3-5 year olds to improve language, math, physical, and social skills to ensure that students are ready to excel in kindergarten and elementary school. 

20 years ago, when Virginia Miller began working as a librarian at Roy Elementary, Paul Puzey, the Principal at the time, gave her some wise words of wisdom, “Make the library a safe and peaceful place.”  Miller says, “Those words have been the foundation of my career.” 

Total, she has spent 10 years as a librarian at Roy Elementary and 10 years at Lomond View Elementary where she will retire in May.

“I felt like Lomond View had the same similarities as Roy. I feel I have worked at two of the finest schools in Weber District.”

A caucus meeting on Tue Mar 20th at 7:00 pm sponsored by the Constitution Party is scheduled in 6 different locations in Weber County.  Please attend at one of the 6 location: Ogden, North Ogden, Washington Terrace, Roy, Hooper, and Huntsville. The addresses are listed on the attached sheet.

Utah Rep. Justin Fawson to step down, move to North Carolina

NORTH OGDEN — Utah Rep. Justin Fawson won’t run again for his seat, making him the third incumbent House member serving Weber County to forego re-election plans.

Mayor Call has several important things he would like to state: “This month I would like to talk about two important matters that affect all of us: Recycling and Water. Back when I was on the City Council (2000-2007), we worked hard to bring recycling to our City. I’m afraid to report that our recycling program is in jeopardy of becoming too costly to continue. The problem that we, as well as other cities, are facing is tipping fees for recyclables are going through the roof. It seems that we as a society are having trouble separating our clean recyclables from our “dirty” trash.
