New rankings position Utah’s economy among top in nation

SALT LAKE CITY (April 22, 2015) – Last Friday, the latest job report showed Utah’s economy continues its strong performance. New rankings released this week indicate Utah’s economy is one of the strongest in the nation.

Utah GOP Considering Test for Candidates to Circumvent 'Count My Vote' Deal

State GOP leaders, UtahPolicy is told, are considering some kind of “scrutiny” of Republican Party candidates in light of SB54, which could include (1) an interview by a party committee and (2) payment of a candidate fee -- and banning any candidate who takes the petition signature route from being able to use the Republican Party banner and name if they don’t do – and pass -- the first two requirements.

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah State Board of Education released the 6th-8th grade Utah Science and Engineering Education (SEEd) standards for 90-day public review. Utah SEEd standards are available online for the public to view and provide feedback using an online survey tool.
