Hello Sentinel,

Please check on your child's lunch account and make sure it does not have a negative balance. On May 26, we will be turning all outstanding balances of $5.00 or more over to Express Recovery Services. 

If you need to work with us regarding your ability to bring the account current, please contact our kitchen manager, Terrie Phillips, at 801-452-4366.

There are several seats open on the City Council and the mayor position will also. In order to qualify as a candidate, interested individuals must file in person between June 1st and June 7 at the City office, which will be open in the afternoons during that week. If a Primary election will be held on August 15, those who are registered to vote will receive their ballots at the end of July. The General Election date is November 8. The language immersion programs are up and running well within two local schools: Bates Elementary in North Ogden and Majestic Elementary in Harrisville. 

Immersion is, in other words, an approach to foreign language instruction in which the usual curricular activities are conducted in a foreign language.  This new language then becomes the medium of instruction.

Fremont High School Varsity Baseball falls to Cottonwood 3-2

In a pitchers duel, Cottonwood put a swing on 1 pitch, with 2 outs, and hit a 3 run home run. That would be enough as Fremont offense could only muster 2 runs in the game.

Justin Flinders threw a perfect game (No hits, no walks) in the win. Tyler Clark Started the offense and Colter Wilde and Cade Hadley finished it. Fremont plays Cottonwood in round 2 today.

Fremont High School Sophomore Baseball beat Weber High School 4-2

The PTA wanted me to send out the following info:

As the year ends and we finalize the earnings/donations for the kids this year, we are excited to let you know that we need to amend the PTA budget for the field trip grant to the school from $7,000 to $12,000.  

By the end of May we will have granted the school a little under $14,000.  Thank you for all you help and support and for such a great year.

We look forward to being able to having another amazing Fall Carnival next year for our fund raiser and hope to be able to donate even more to our kids
