Wahlquist Junior High

Eagle Nation,

Good morning. Today you may have noticed some additional deputies at Wahlquist. We became aware of a possible threat made by a student. School officials and law enforcement have dealt with the student and we do not believe there is any danger to the school. We take all threats seriously to ensure the safety of our students. We appreciate the diligence of our students and staff in helping us keep our school safe.

Bates Elementary

Smith's has recently redone their Earn and Learn Donation Program.  If you were previously signed up, you will need to re-register in order for Bates to be your charity of choice.  Smith's donations are used to provide additional classroom aide support and supplies throughout the school. We previously had over 500 families registered with Smith's and we are now down to 30, so we really need your help with this.

It is very easy to register/re-register:

1. Go to SmithsFoodandDrug.com/inspire

This is just a reminder that all student absences need to be called in each morning by 8:30am.  If you keep your student home or if they will be tardy past 8:45am for any reason, please call the office at 801-452-4580. If you call and reach voicemail, please leave us a message with your student's name and the reason for the absence or tardy.
