Last month, Willard School did a fundraiser at The Body Shop Gym.  Kord Pixton from the gym said, “When I was approached by Amber Morrill to help with this, I must admit I was a little skeptical. I mean, let's be honest. Candy bars and a gym membership are on two different levels of commitment. Well, I'm happy to announce that it was a success. Because of you, we are happy to announce that we will be giving Willard Elementary a check for $650! Most of that is from new member sign ups.

Well, I'm happy to announce that it was a success. Because of you, we are happy to announce that we will be giving Willard Elementary a check for $650! Most of that is from new member sign ups.

We were able to give $800 in books to library. Thanks to everyone that supports our amazing teachers and school!!!

Larry Findley Leadership Award

Parents and students,

If you feel like anyone on the BEHS staff (including support personnel, secretaries, custodians, coaches etc.) possesses at least two of the following qualities and would like to show your appreciation to them, will you consider nominating them for the Annual Larry Findley Leadership Award?

• Provides strong leadership at Box Elder High School.

Only one week and one day until the public hearing on the re-zone request on the South end of town. If you care about our small town even in the least bit, please plan on attending that public hearing. I don't care if you are for or against this re-zone request, I'd just like to see an outpouring of interest to show our city officials that we care. The public hearing is 6:30 on March 8 at the city building. Spread the word to neighbors and friends!

SALT LAKE CITY — Friday, March 2, thousands of Utah elementary students will be heard rhyming in unison as they participate in Dr. Seuss Day, part of the National Education Association’s Read Across America initiative.
