Here's an update on the possible gravel pit / asphalt plant..... Thanks goes to Brian Jameson for putting together this handout so we can be aware of the next step. If you would like to join the fight against another gravel pit or worst, email the Box Elder County Commissioners. Let them know you oppose rezoning the property (Parcel #:02-055-0117) from Un-Zoned to MG-EX (mining, quarry, sand & gravel excavation).

Talent show tryouts will be April 12th after school in the little theatre.  The talent show will be the 19th.

Project Location

UDOT will widen the shoulders on Main Street (US-89). This work will take place along US-89 in Willard starting near mile post 426 and extending almost to the junction of SR-126 and US-89.

Purpose of the Project
This project will improve safety for those traveling by automobile and bicycle, by providing a paved standard shoulder in places that now only have a gravel shoulder.

Batter Up! It’s time for youth baseball.  Sign up forms are available online at willardcity.com.  Signup sheets can be mailed with a check or money order to the City office or delivered with payment to the City office. The City cannot take debit or credit cards. The deadline for signing up is March 31, 2017.

Laura Dean from Willard, representing Box Elder High School, was honored March 8th as Vocal Performance Sterling Scholar Winner for 2017. Her parents are Robert and Margie Dean.

The purpose of the Sterling Scholar Awards is to publicly recognize and encourage the pursuit of excellence in scholarship, leadership and citizenship of high school graduating students.

As a great concern to the community there was a plea sent out by Barney & Della Barnett owners of Willard Bay Gardens.
