WILLARD CITY CORPORATION ORDINANCE NO. 2016-C

 AN EMERGENCY SPECIAL ORDER FOR WILLARD CITY IMPOSING SPECIAL FIRE AND FIREWORKS RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS BEGINNING June 23, 2016, UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15, 2016.

WHEREAS,

the City of Willard (hereafter

referred to as the “City”) is an incorporated municipality duly existing under the laws of the

state of Utah; and,

WHEREAS,

Willard issues fire restrictions - The City of Willard implemented new fire restrictions at Thursday's City Council meeting. Effective immediately, fires, fireworks, tracer ammunition, pyrotechnic devices of any kind and outdoor metal grinding/welding near vegetation are now prohibited east of US-89 through September 15. Attended campfires in permanent enclosures designed for that purpose are OK.

Starting with a bike show at 4:00-7:00

Each year the Willard City is required to prepare a Consumer Confidence Report highlighting the test results and the quality of the drinking water supplied to its residents. The report is available by checking the city’s website, or you may request a copy at the Willard City Office, 80 W 50 S, during regular hours 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. M-F.

May 31st-Madrigals Concert at 7:00 

June 1st-Graduation practice/Senior Slide show for Seniors 5th & 6th hours 

Senior Luau-Brigham City pool 3:00-5:00 (FREE-SENIORS ONLY) 

June 2nd-End of year recognition assembly (all students, auditorium) 

  Students will go to shortened class periods 

  1:00 Seniors receive yearbooks in the library while junior and sophomore students watch senior slideshow in the auditorium 

June 3rd– Half day for students, yearbook signing

ROTA, Spain – A 2000 Box Elder High School graduate and Williard, Utah native is serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the guided missile destroyer, USS Donald Cook.
