Jaren Campbell was nominated for March Student of the Month for Social Science. He is the son of Jeff and Bonnie Campbell.

Jaren Campbell is a student with diverse interests.  Jaren asks questions to seek deeper understanding.  His questions help others learn as well.  He is consistently one of the students with high grades. Jaren has been very involved with extracurricular activities at BEHS.  In particular, his involvement with FBLA sticks out.  He does a great job of connecting the information that he learns in one class to what he is learning in another.

Kaylee Gerlach was nominated in Social Science for March Student of the Month. Kaylee is the daughter of Peter and Kris Gerlach.

Kaylee Gerlach is an excellent student who has taken multiple Advanced Placement classes across several different disciplines.  Throughout the year, Kaylee has consistently had the highest grade in AP Government class.  Some would say that she has an unfair advantage, being the daughter of the teacher and all, but she also has the added challenge of knowing that Dad will look at all of her work.  Kaylee completes her assignments with precision.  She offers insightful comments in class and is willing to help other students who may have questions about the subjects being discussed in class.  In addition to her academic pursuits, Kaylee has been involved with pole vaulting and high jumping with the BEHS Track Team.  Earlier in the year, she was a co-captain on the Cross-Country Team and earned recognition for Academic All-State in Cross-Country.

Hannah Davila was nominated for Math for March Student of the Month.  Hannah is the daughter of Chrisa Leanne Davila and Ruben Davila.

Hannah works very hard in Pre-Calculus. She is not afraid to ask questions or get the help she needs.

The teacher was assuming that math must come easy for her because she always does so well on all of her tests and quizzes. But recently, the teacher found out from one of her friends that math is one of her most difficult subjects and that the reason she does so well is because of good old-fashioned hard work. Way to go Hannah!!

Megan Meservy was nominated for Science March Student of the Month.  She is the daughter of Dell Ray and Cheryl Meservy.

Megan has a great attitude and work ethic. She is certainly motivated and prepared for anything she wants to do after high school. An individual in Megan’s position could have a very different attitude, as it is not easy to be in a class with students who are younger than you, due to a scheduling need for graduation. She has not taken it personal or thought of it as a burden, and has been wonderful in class to help others and not make them feel younger or below her in any way. Little things like nods and facial expressions make it easier to teach.  She has a mature personality and insights in conversations.
