We are excited to begin our 2015 Regional “You Can Pay for College” Nights. We will begin each event with a 30 minute financial aid presentation, followed by a college fair. Keep in mind that these events are open to anyone who is interested in going to college, however, only 9
th-12 th graders are eligible for the scholarships. Students and parents can attend any of UHEAA’s events to learn about paying for college and talk to representatives from Utah’s colleges & universities.

The RMACAC (Rocky Mtn Association for College Admissions Counseling) Utah College Fair is provided for all students and parents. It is on September 26 at Corner Canyon High School and begins at 11:30 am. You can attend college admission workshops and then the fair is from 1:00pm-3:30 pm. Meet recruiters from all kinds of colleges from all over the nation. Attached is the flyer.

HOMECOMING is almost here!! We have had some issues with the date that was selected for the Homecoming dance and have decided it would be best to bump the dance to the following weekend, October 10th. Please help us get the word out to students. Homecoming week will still be Sept 28-Oct 3.
Students at Box Elder High School have once again submitted a tractor for the National Delo Tractor Restoration Competition. We have created a video that summarizes what they have done to restore a 1954 Farmall Super C over the past 24 months. We would like to invite everyone to view and vote for the Box Elder High FFA tractor video. This can be done by visiting www.delotrcvoting.com You are allowed to vote 3 times every day with each valid email address. First time voters will need to register. It is simple and only takes a couple minutes to register.
It is time for Juniors to register for the PSAT test! The PSAT test is a practice SAT test and is also the qualifying test for Juniors to enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation competitions for college scholarships that will be awarded in 2016-2017school year.
This is a great opportunity for Junior’s to practice college entrance tests. The results help identify your student’s strengths and weaknesses. Sophomores can also take this test as a practice SAT. It is not a qualifying test for Sophomores, but it is great practice for next year.
