Utah Air Show: Warriors Over The Wasatch

Saturday, June 25, 2016 - 11:56am to Sunday, June 26, 2016 - 11:56am

The Breitling Jet Team, supported by the independent Swiss watch brand Breitling, is embarking on the second and last year of their inaugural American Tour, performing at air shows throughout the U.S. and Canada in 2016.

Made up of seven L-39 C Albatros jets that can reach speeds of up to 565 mph, the Breitling Jet Team is the world’s largest professional civilian flight team performing in jets, sometimes flying within just a few feet of each other.

“Warriors Over the Wasatch” is upon us once again! This year, on the heels of a major regional auction in Ballard, IronPlanet®’s GovPlanet marketplace is sponsoring the annual open house and air show at Hill AFB, taking place June 25-26, 2016.

In addition to the awe-inspiring U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration, U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team and a number of other military and civilian aerial demonstrations, attendees will be able to connect with GovPlanet and see our special event Humvee. The Humvee was rebuilt by Salt Lake City’s Plan B Supply, and has been wrapped for the event to help bring awareness to the Warriors Over the Wasatch -as well as the Fisher House Foundation. GovPlanet is a major supporter of Fisher House Foundation, which supports a network of comfort homes where military and veterans' families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.

We would like to invite you down to this unique Utah event, which is expected to bring roughly 650,000 people to the local area. And while there, we would love for you to connect with GovPlanet - so you can hear more about the work we do in supporting our veterans, and a bit about GovPlanet’s unique capability to bring the government’s surplus rolling stock to civilian’s.

As the event draws nearer, visit www.TheUtahAirShow.com for information on performers, parking and transportation options, an event map and more.

A little more about GovPlanet: GovPlanet is the leading online marketplace for used heavy equipment, and as an IronPlanet marketplace, it is an innovative participant in the multi-billion dollar heavy equipment auction market. Since 2000, IronPlanet has sold over $4 billion of used equipment online and has built a database of more than 1.5 million registered users worldwide.
