Notice of Proposed Tax Increase

Description/Agenda:

The Weber Fire District is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.

- The Weber Fire District tax on a $254,000 residence would increase from $193.90 to $219.19, which is $25.09 per year.

- The Weber Fire District tax on a $254,000 business would increase from $352.55 to $398.53, which is $45.98 per year.

- If the proposed budget is approved, Weber Fire District would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 12.46% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue, excluding new growth.

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.

To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact Weber Fire District at 801-782-3580.
