Green Acres Elementary January News

Green Acres Elementary - Principal’s Message - I want to discuss the engineering part of our STEM emphasis. We are using the Project Lead the Way (PLTW), Launch curriculum to teach the engineering design process. If you refer to the graphic below with the steps in the engineering design process you’ll notice it’s a great process for general decision making. Something I really like is that we’re teaching students to collaborate and share ideas. I love the explain step, we’re doing this in all subjects now.
