Governor’s head of Department of Health to step down

SALT LAKE CITY (June 24, 2015) – After serving four years as executive director of the Department of Health, Dr. David Patton, will leave the administration to pursue opportunities in the private sector.

WASHINGTON– The Office of Rep. Rob Bishop (UT-01) has selected a water color painting by 18-year-old Sayrah Rich for display on Capitol Hill. Sayrah’s painting, Flags, is based on a photograph her father took at a flag ceremony during the dedication of the Brigham City LDS temple. Sayrah is a recent graduate of Sky View High School in Smithfield, UT.

Utah ranked number one in job growth for fourth consecutive month

SALT LAKE CITY (June 19, 2015) - Utah posted the highest job growth rate in the nation for total and private sector job growth for the fourth consecutive month. According to new data released today, the state of Utah ranked first for total job growth at 3.8 percent and first for private sector job growth at 4.5 percent.
