Willard – City officials want to remind everyone that it is time to renew dog licenses, which must be renewed by January 31, 2016. The cost of a license is $5.00 for dogs that are spayed or neutered and $15.00 for those that are not. Reminder postcards have been sent out. If you no longer have your dog, please contact the Willard City offices so the dog license can be removed from their list.

Box Elder High School Mid-Term Report Cards

 

 

 

2nd Trimester mid-term report cards will be distributed to students at Box Elder High School during Bee Time on Friday, January 22nd.  Parent/teacher conferences for 2nd trimester will be held Monday, January 25th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

 

H & R Block - Winner of the 1000 X $1000 at North Ogden Site

H&R Block is putting the “fun” back in Refund Season. With 1,000s of winners of the H&R Block 1,000 Win $1,000 Daily Sweepstakes that will be celebrated all over the country. We are fortunate enough to already have a winner right here at our location in North Ogden (2568 N 400 E).  Brook Taggart is one of the lucky first winners and is receiving her $1,000 check this week.  Thirty-two thousand people will win $1,000 from H&R Block during the first month of tax season. Anyone who files their taxes in a participating H&R Block office by Feb.

Snowball boy’s choice casual dance is January 16 at 7:00-9:00.  The dance will be at the Eccles Ice Center in North Logan.  Ticket prices to be announced soon!  Boys get your date!

Utah State Board of Education adopts new 6-8 grade science standards

State Board adopts new science standards for grades 6-8

 

The Utah State Board of Education voted Friday to adopt new 6-8 grade science standards that incorporate engineering concepts and reflect current research.

 

The standards will go into effect in the 2018-19 school year, following a pilot year in 2017-18. This allows time for teacher training and test item development.

Beeline for November 16-21

The canned food drive is happening and will go until November 20th! The can drive doge ball tournament is on November 23 at 6:00 at the high school. Its 10 cans of food per player on
the teams and 4 cans to watch. Support BEHS and donate some canned food!
 

Driver’s ed registration is going on now. Students can sign up by going to school’s website, under students there is a link to driver’s education.
