No Name Chili Fest and Food Drive

There is no better way to spend your Labor Day than in the high alpine, sampling great home-made chili, listening to free live music, and helping a great cause in Utah! The Snowbasin Resort Culinary team will make batches of their own personal chilis to have out for the guests of the event to sample, taste, and vote on. The winning chili will be served at Needles Lodge for the 2014/15 season!

This all ages event begins at 12:30 pm with the final ballots to be counted at 4:30 pm and the winner to be announced. To get your chili tasting kit, it will cost you $14 per person with $2 of every purchase going directly to the Utah Food Bank. If you bring non-perishable food items to help fill our ‘Beat Hunger Gondola’ that will be set-up in the middle of the plaza, your tasting kit will be automatically reduced to $12; with the $2 of each purchase still going to the UT Food Bank.

The ‘Beat Hunger Gondola’ full of non-perishable food items and the final amount of the cash donation will be presented in downtown Salt Lake City to the UT Food Bank during their annual food drive event.
