The Green Waste Facility will close for the season on November 3rd (weather permitting).

 The compost facility will be open during the Fall Clean-up days of October 21 – 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. October 19 & 26 at no cost.

Quick note from Mayor Chugg:

We will be celebrating Labor Day the first Monday in September, which is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of the American worker. It is a tribute to the workers who have contributed to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. It also marks the end of summer vacations and activities.

Tuesday, August 20th is the First Day of School

Come enjoy evenings of music at Barker Park on Mondays from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Bring blankets and chairs.

The new Orchard Springs Elementary School will not be complete in time for the new 2019-2020 school year. The building, which cost $21.6 million, will house new students in the Pleasant View area but not for at least 1-3 months. However, 380 students along with several teachers, will be relocated to various elementary schools within Weber District.  This will give each of the staff and students the opportunity to still begin the school year, with everyone else, only in a different location.
