Dear Editor:                                        Man’s Greatest Folly

Believing in Man, instead of God the Creator, is Man’s greatest folly.  Man’s failure to learn and teach God’s Word, throughout the world, as He directed, has resulted in the world we live in today.  A World gone mad!

A World that goes against God and His will for Man, whom He created in his image.  A World mostly ignorant of God and “The Word of God.”

I’ve criticized Senator Mitt Romney in the past for being a flip-flopper on a variety of issues and even on his position regarding Donald Trump.  And maybe he has wavered on some of these things to maintain his balance in congress, his career, and as a presidential candidate in 2012.  But he didn’t flip-flop today, Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 regarding President Goldfinger. 

Romney stood up as a man today and as a responsible United States Senator, as a responsible American, voting against the Republican Party line and to convict Donald Trump of abuse of power.

Shamed, yet somehow mistakenly proud of himself American Senator Mitch McConnell flashes a wide grin and signals a winning thumbs up after selling America down the river and into the annals of history closing the final chapter in ‘2020: The Death of Democracy’.  Perhaps some other yet unknown fledgling country will read about America in the history books some day and pick up the ball of truth, justice and the ‘former‘ American way giving life and a re-birth to democracy.

When Secretary of State Mike Pompeo lambasted an NPR reporter recently for asking questions about Ukraine issues it demonstrated poor judgement and disrespect for the reporter, for himself, and for the American people ...even the American people who voted for his boss, Donald Trump aka President Goldfinger. 

They are both in show business, and both comedians.  In fact, the Yiddish meaning of Der-show-itz is ‘the show (or the ‘talking’) is coming fast’ (or it’s about to begin).  But I digress ...
