Fremont High School - Baseball

Fremont 3, Clearfield 1: At Plain City, Fremont overcame four errors and ended a five-game losing streak Wednesday, defeating Clearfield 3-1.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth when Fremont scored a pair of runs, ending a streak of 20 straight scoreless innings for the Silver Wolves.

Clearfield scored in the top of the sixth, but Fremont responded with a run in the bottom half.

Jesse Schickel started for Fremont and pitched five innings, allowing no runs and just four hits.

BOYS SOCCER Region 1

Fremont Girls Basketball National Tourney

Fremont High School-The Utah High School Activities Association 5A Girls Basketball Champion Fremont High School will become the first team from Utah to compete in the DICK's Sporting Goods High School National Tournament.

Fremont, one of four girls teams competing in the tournament, finished their season with a 24-2 record coached by Lisa Dalebout, including a 60-27 victory over American Fork in the UHSAA 5A Girls Championship game.

Fremont High School - Softball

Box Elder 5, Fremont 1: At Brigham City, Sadie Blacker went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, and Box Elder avenged an early-season loss to Fremont with a 5-1 victory Friday.

Fremont defeated Box Elder 6-1 on March 12.
