WHS's Theatre Department Turns Out One Magical Production After Another

It's All About...Getting Uncomfortable

Honey Mustard Chicken

1/2 c butter, melted

 1/2 c mustard

 1 t curry powder

 1 c honey

 1 t salt

Mix all sauce ingredients together. Place about 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts in 9X13 pan.  Pour sauce over the top.  Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.  Remove foil and bake an additional 30 minutes.

*I like to serve this over rice.

(This makes a lot.  I sometimes freeze 1/2 the sauce for later use and just use a 9X9 dish and 1/2 the chicken)

Tiny Shredders, Learning Big Skills

National Geographic recently named Ogden, Utah as one of the “Top 10 Emerging Ski Towns” and for good reason. The outdoor industry is thriving in Northern Utah, with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. This old railroad town has transformed itself into an outdoor adventure mecca. Utah proudly boasts it’s prestigious reputation for having, “The Best Snow on Earth” to attract winter sports enthusiasts from all over the nation to play in our very own backyard.

Mrs. Barnett

A combined orchestra Christmas concert at Weber High School in Pleasant View on 16 December, combined the talents of students from WHS, North Ogden Junior High and Orion Junior High under the direction of their conductor/teacher Maxine Barnett.  The concert allowed each of the school’s orchestras to do individual performances and finish with a combined rendition of “Angels We Have Heard on High.”

Are you frustrated with how big government is running amuck with no end in sight?   Do you want to get up off your keester and make a difference by being part of an organization, but can’t find one that supports your values?  Well, Byron and Dakota Tuck from Howell, Utah, know and understand your pain and invite you to join them and other activists that stand for patriotism and Constitutional values.

Nativity Sets

This is a special time of year when folks are finding ways to express themselves and share their Christmas spirit.  Some do it through hobbies—like Ilene Hoffman of North Ogden does with her nativity sets.  She has over 1,000 pieces made from all kinds of materials and from foreign countries.  She and others displayed their sets at the first Weber County Holiday Festival held at the Golden Spike Event Center over Thanksgiving weekend.
