The dealer slipped us a King

I’m not sure what game we’re playin’

But we stand to lose everything 

All the money’s on the table

All the Jokers they’ve gone wild

Mitch McConnell where art thou 

When’s the last time that you smiled 

Your wife is Secretary of Transportation 

And Transportation is profitable indeed

The King is wild in this game, baby,

Turns out the joke’s on me 

This King was dealt from the bottom of the deck

Here are Ten Best Reasons for barbecuing veggie burgers and hot dogs this Independence Day, rather than ground-up animal body parts:

Sex is one thing, a complicated thing, but nonetheless an issue as old as the ages ...as old as the sexes.  Just ask Adam and Eve.  Sex is the basis of a lot of pain and sorrow, ‘love’ notwithstanding, and it’s also the basis of a lot of good-natured humor, ‘marriage’ not withstanding.

Well, they’re making me crazy.  What are they doing?!  Don’t they want to win the White House next year?  I’ve never seen a more disjointed bunch of ambitious ne’er-do-wells before in my life!  Yes, that's an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms ...like many of these candidates!  Aren’t they watching the news ...aren’t they watching themselves on TV?  Well, I am, and the rest of America is too!  

It is sad to say, but on the 243rd Anniversary of the birth of this Great Nation, America has (possibly) reached the Point-Of-No-Return. 

Added the word possibly, because, there is still a glimpse of true active believers left somewhere.  And we, of course, know that all things are possible to God the creator of all.

But perhaps, like the Prophet Jonah, who wanted the great wicked city of Nineveh destroyed, we are reluctant to inform America of the coming destruction.   We know of such destruction because we read the book, the Word of God, the Holy Bible.

Getting Serious About the 2020 Presidential Election

 

Really, get serious.  Pull your head out ...from under the covers and pay attention to what’s going on around you.  If not for yourself, then for your kids, your family, your neighbors and community ...for your Country.  It’s more important this time than any other time in America’s history. 

 

The Fair Wage and Benefits Amendment
