X-treme Eco Expedition Camp
Think you know whit it takes to survive in the wild? Challenge yourself in the ultimate nature adventure. Learn how to read nature and prepare yourself for survival using basic first aid, map reading, fire starting, leadership, tracking and shelter-building skills learned along the way. Conquer the compass and GPS, and put your skills to the test in an all-out, end-of-camp treasure hunt. Who will win in this wild adventure?
Ages 11-14
Week long summer day camp adventure with 1 overnight program.
Mon-Wed 8:30-3:30pm
Overnight campout starts at 6pm Thursday the 12th and ends at 9am Friday morning.
Dinner and breakfast are provided. After-hours care is available until 5pm Mon-Wed. Tents and sleeping bags are available for students who do not own their own. Tents are shared with same gender campers only.
$150.00 -includes a camp t-shirt
Ogden Nature Center members receive a 10% discount, plus take an additional 10% off if your family signs up for more than one camp.

Mad Science: Secret Agent Lab
Mad Science of Greater Salt Lake City will offer a children's (ages 5 to 11 years old) summer science camp: Secret Agent Lab at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden on Monday through Friday, June 9th through 13th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students should bring a sack lunch, water, and sun screen. The Art of Becoming Articulate: Reclaiming Language, Writing and Human Connections
Instructor, Susan Young will offer the Art of Becoming Articulate at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson avenue, Ogden on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. June 11 through July 9, 2014. This workshop will explore the concepts necessary to express yourself on paper, journaling, the handwritten note - social correspondence and the lost art of the letter. Tuition: $52.
