A Very Successful Season for the Swim Team so far

Plain City—Fremont High’s swim team is well underway in their 2014-2015 season and have had some pretty impressive finishes. At the region relays held on November 11, the boys’ team took first place and the girls’ team took third. They’ve also had plenty of individual swimmers from the team finish in the top three in different events. Needless to say, it’s been a great season so far for both the team and Timothy Shupe, who’s been coaching for Fremont since 2006, and serving as head coach since 2009.

Farr West Happenings

On November 18th, Farr West citizens packed the City Hall to hear about the General Plan, cemetery, and Smith Family Park; and to share their thoughts and ideas with the City leaders. There were two conceptual layouts for the Smith Family Park that were designed by citizens of Farr West City. All interested residents were invited and encouraged to give feedback on these projects. There was a survey at the open house and they were also available on line and at the City office for a week or so after the meeting.
