Dear Board,

ESSA is pressuring Utah to subvert our state laws and parental rights. Please don’t do it. 

I agree with state school board member Michelle Boulter, who wrote:

With scorching heat and raging wildfires in the West and torrential downpours and massive flooding in the East, global warming is not just about a gentle sea rise any more. These tragic consequences of dumping greenhouse gases into our atmosphere, call for drastic remedies.

For starters, we should re-join the Paris Climate Accords and actually become a world leader in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. One of the most effective ways is by changing our diet.

When it comes to vehicle safety, the brake system is at the top of the list. Brake Safety Awareness Month is the ideal time for drivers to stop and make sure their brakes are working properly before the new school year and colder temperatures arrive.

The power of God is easily seen in His creation every where we look.  It is in ourselves and all around us.  His spirit is in every one of us who are alive.  We are the product of the Great Designer and Creator, God.  

The Triad God said, “let us make man in our image” and “our likeness,” and he did.

My daughter Shelby is named after a grocery store chain in Idaho.  Odd perhaps for a kid that spent her childhood in Brooklyn, New York and now lives in Park City, Utah.  “Shelby’s” is long gone but the legend lives on.  Seemed like a good name for our first daughter.

Since homosexuals do not reproduce and hence are not normal and will not "survive" according to Charles Darwin, and since a homosexual orientation has a cognitive rather than a genetic origin which would be contrary to Darwin's laws of nature, the LGBT must constantly replenish its out and open Love Gone Bad Today cesspool through the indoctrination of innocent impressionable minds; as young as two-years old.

“The Buck Stops Here” was a straightforward commitment of responsibility and confidence in leadership made famous by President Harry Truman.  He lived by this mantra and stood behind the statement as President of the United States and ‘leader of the free world’.  Symbolistic of his resolve as America’s CEO, Truman had a desktop sign made with these famous words imprinted and displayed it proudly on his desk in the Oval Office. 

Truman instilled America’s confidence in his presidency and was the kind of leader you’d follow anywhere. 

IIt’s Not the Economy, Stupid, It’s Your Legacy

“Economy” comes and goes, legacy is forever.  Recession and growth cycles in many cases take care of themselves as long as there are Wall Street crooks at the nation’s financial helm and as long as there are enterprising, honest, hard-working diehard individuals in the balance.  And as long as there are forces of nature.  It’s kind of like global warming.

The Mayflower pilgrims in Heaven, would be astonished, at American’s present-day attitude towards God, the Word of God, and his precious Son Jesus.

Their strong beliefs in God and Christianity were expressed in the Mayflower Compact. In that Compact, they said they did it, “for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith,” and signed “in the presence of God.”

One of them seems to be.
