The state just passed a new law allowing motorcycles to filter to the front at red lights. Be prepared this summer to starting seeing motorcycles passing between stopped cars at red lights.

If you’re wondering why this has happened... it’s primary to prevent inattentive or distracted drivers from rear ending motorcycles when they come to a stop in traffic. A car can handle being rear ended far better than a motorcycle can.

By the time kids reach 4th, 5th or 6th grade in elementary school, they get the opportunity to participate in what is known as the “Wax Museum.”  However, this isn’t just any ordinary wax museum---this is a living wax museum because the students, themselves, will be standing in as the statues.

Pioneer Elementary recently had their Living Wax Museum. Each student chose a famous person from American History whom they found interesting.  For example, I met with Princess Diana, Orville Wright, Pocahontas, Julia Child, Sacagawea and more.

On Thursday, March 14th, I took my two young boys to see the Rocky Mountain Robotics League Competition at the Ogden Weber Tech College.  We’ve enjoyed going to this event the past two years; and we were looking forward to this one as well!

It is so difficult to have severely special needs children that can't be seen by someone just looking at them. It isn't easy being a trauma mama suffering with secondary trauma and secondary PTSD, because that too is not seen by looking at me. If you don't live it. You can't possibly understand.
