Eating Sustainably

Dear Editor:

With the 47th annual observance of Earth Day just around the corner,
this is a great time to explore more effective ways of slowing climate
change and conserving Earth’s natural resources for future generations.

Now that Boston, Paris, Brussels, etc, etc... have been attacked, and innocent citizens murdered in cold blood by ISIS radicals.... plus we have many cases of brutal rape and theft by illegals here as well, it is time to put a stop to all immigration into the USA.

All Criminal Invaders (i.e. Illegal Immigrants) must be found and deported! They have already broken our laws by just coming here illegally to begin with. And some of them commit additional crimes once here. Why shouldn't they? We've already shown them that they won't be prosecuted.

SB 88 (Gun Control by Bureaucrats) Awaiting Final House Vote
Senate Bill 88 reauthorizes numerous "administrative rules" created by bureaucrats (i.e. unelected officials) that have the same effect as state statute.  These include gun controls and other subversions of your natural rights.

This bill is particularly significant in that it demonstrates the lackadaisical, lazy, and compliant nature of Utah's supposed "gun rights champions".  Rather than rein in the bureaucrats, they prefer to carte blanche approve their corruption.

The Alabama Supreme Court just rejected the US Supreme Court's gay marriage opinion and basically told them to stay out of their business. They will follow the Alabama Constitution and Law which bans homosexual marriages.

They claim that the 5-4 ruling by the SCOTUS is illegitimate and without legal authority or precedence.

HJR 8: Convention to Finish Destroying the U.S. Constitution
House Joint Resolution 8 calls for a convention of the states, with delegates likely apportioned and chosen by the corrupt federal congress.  These delegates could rewrite or abolish the U.S. constitution and its "Bill of Rights" -- to include the right to keep and bear arms.

Our nation is at a crucial juncture. Both the US House & Senate just passed into the control of the Conservatives whose primary interest is in preserving liberty and restoring the respect our nation once enjoyed.

On the other side we have Socialists trying to out-promise each other by making completely unrealistic and unsustainable commitments.

Now, also with a vacant Supreme Court seat to fill, the stakes are even much higher. We simply cannot allow the current lame-duck President to fill this position with a left-leaning Liberal judge.
